Course Description

A practical course on designing, implementing, operating, and evaluating a PCAOB-compliant system of quality control under QC 1000. The course emphasizes risk-based implementation, monitoring and remediation, documentation, and inspection readiness.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Identify the key requirements of PCAOB QC 1000 and explain how they differ from the prior PCAOB quality control standards.

  • Evaluate a firm’s quality control risks and determine appropriate quality responses under a risk-based QC 1000 framework.

  • Apply QC 1000 requirements to the design, implementation, and operation of a firm’s system of quality control.

  • Identify common implementation weaknesses and documentation deficiencies that may result in PCAOB inspection findings.

  • Assess a firm’s monitoring, remediation, and annual evaluation processes to determine whether its system of quality control is functioning effectively and PCAOB 'inspection-ready.'

Attendance Requirements

Participants must attend the entire program and actively participate in all sessions to receive full credit.
Partial credit will not be awarded.

Refund / Cancellation Policy

Refund requests must be submitted in writing at least 10 days prior to the program date. If Blue Diamond Audit Advisors must cancel a training course, participants will receive a full refund or a credit for a future training course, valid for up to 1 year from the date of the canceled event. Participants will be notified of any cancellation via email at the address provided during course registration.
